Floor to ceiling cabinets separated the cook from the rest of the family. It was obvious from the first design meeting ... the wall had to go. The decision was made to replace the wall of cabinets with a welcoming island with beams to maintain the design theme.
A lovely island replaces the wall of separation with warmth and beauty.
